Pumpstation Professionals, Inc. was founded in November, 2001 by Robert L. Cross. Bob's goal was to build a world-class service organization, providing the best customer service in the pumpstation industry. Today, that goal has become a reality.
Within the first 4 years, the business grew to handle the pumpstation needs of more than 120 golf courses and various municipalities. The list of courses includes some of the most prestigous courses in the Midwest including:

- Whisper Creek Golf Club, Huntley, IL - Located within the award winning Sun City, a Del Webb community, and one of the many, very fine courses managed by Billy Casper Golf.
On February 23, 2007 - Pumpstation Professionals was purchased by Municipal Well & Pump. The combination of these two firms brings a full range of services to customers including:

- VFD and electical controls
- Preventative Maintenance
- Emergency Service
